I have spent the majority of my working life on jobsites. I have spent nearly the last decade working for myself, doing all sorts of handy work and carpentry. I especially love to work outside and I excel at outdoor carpentry.

In the last few years I began to fall in love with the outdoors in a way I never have before. I began to see myself as a part of the world rather than an outside agency imposed upon it. I began to learn about the harms of pesticides, herbicides, mono plant yards (grass), invasive species commonly used in landscaping, and other practices the industry uses that harms the ecosystem at large. I began to wish there was a way for me to get involved in the landscaping industry so I could have the opportunity to do things a little differently.

I have been experimenting in my own yard for the last 4 years and am beginning to understand how to garden with native plants, I also have expanded my network of plant geniuses and mentors quite a lot. And now, the time has come, to begin to throw my name out there as someone who does this stuff.

I still build decks and whatnot. And I mean, why not? It is a foot I already have in the door of your yards, and, why not take the opportunity when doing some new construction to plan the butterfly garden to go with it?

Anyway, whether you are building and/or planting and you want to do so in a way that works with the land rather than against it, I just might be your guy.
